How Kreeda Ranking Works
A fair, transparent, and mathematically grounded ranking system designed for competitive sports in India.
Points per win
Every match you win earns ranking points: a win in the groups or the round of 16 is one unit, a quarter-final two, a semi-final three, and the final five. Stronger events and bigger draws are worth more per unit. A loss earns nothing.
Rolling 4-quarter window
Every result you earn counts for this active quarter and the three preceding quarters. Points never abruptly vanish on a single reset date; an old quarter leaves the calculation only when a new one begins.
Your level leaderboard
On your skill level’s leaderboard, you are ranked against peers by total ranking points. Every victory adds to your score. A tough match or bad result never lowers your earned points.
The overall standings
All Band A players are placed above Band B, and all Band B above Band C. Within each tier, order is determined by points. To move into a higher division, your verified skill level advances through match results.
Provisional rank
Until you have played at least 4 rated competitive matches, your rank is marked as provisional, ensuring leaderboard fairness for established competitors.
Career lifetime points
Every point you have ever earned on Kreeda is preserved in your permanent profile. Career points never expire and serve as your lifetime sporting badge.
